Rail 200 Gala
2025 celebrates the 200th year of public rail travel so we shall be joining in with the celebrations at our once in a lifetime Rail 200 Gala on our final running day of the season, September 28th, with trains running from 12-5pm.
Along with a 5 hour suburban running day, we will have special named Grand Tour trains from Platform 4 travelling over all of our running lines completing a 15 minute journey, each departing roughly every hour. There will be lots of our resident locomotives running on the day and plenty of them on display as well.

Woking Wanderer

The West Countryman
2:00pm departure £4.00 per person 15 tickets available
The Knaphill Villager

Please be aware, our Grand Tour services have limited tickets available per train and will be sold on a first come first serve basis on the day of the event.
Prices for Grand Tour services will be £4.00 per ticket.
The Mizens Railway Modellers will also be displaying “Milford”, a 00 gauge British Rail ex LNER layout, in the station building along with a few models for sale as well.
The Garibaldi will be providing an on site bar with a real ale, cider, premium and a number of lagers along with wines and spirits.
We will also be joined by other visiting railway societies.
