NORMAL FARES FOR 2019
(PLEASE NOTE: Different rates may apply for certain special events and a site entry fee is charged for the Knaphill Village Show and Oktoberfest.)
On most running days, we offer the choice of two different routes. .
The SUBURBAN* is the shorter of our routes taking you on a journey around the perimeter of our large site.
Fare £2.00
The MILER* is the longer of our three routes at almost one mile and takes you around the inner circuit in the opposite direction before joining the Suburban Route. This provides more opportunities to see the attractive scenery and large variety of trees on our site and various displays.
or
The HIGHLANDER* is an alternative longer route. It climbs onto our new high-level section over a viaduct and the top of the tunnel. It offers new views from the trains and makes our locos work hard, providing some good sound effects when operated by steam engines. When the Highlander route is not available, we will generally offer the Miler instead. Please note on some running days (including Easter Sunday) we only operate the shorter Suburban route.
Fare £2.50 for whichever of the longer routes we are operating
The DUCKPOND FLYER* is a short route run on certain special events (New Years Day, Easter Sunday and 1940s Day) that takes passengers from our main station on platform 3 all the way down to Santa's where passengers can depart the train to visit our scenic pond or can stay on the train back to the main station on platform 3. This route is mainly run by our smaller loco's on site which gives them a chance to shine.
