24/07/26- On Tuesday August 11th, we are holding a working party at Mizens for all members. It is hoped we can tackle a good number of jobs to help keep our track in good quality and improve our site. The main job will be track maintenance; raising, packing and levelling our track to improve its quality. It is my hope we will have enough people to work on the track by our carriage sheds as well.For those who don’t wish to help with the track, there will be a list of jobs to complete as well. These include fence painting and jet washing. Lunch will be provided, to working members, from a local fish & chip shop. Please use the link below to book your lunch (or to let me know you're coming and don't require lunch). A paper copy will be left in the station building. Light refreshments and drinks will also be available.
Please bring working clothes, sturdy footwear and equipment you may want for your own comfort.
I will aim to be on site from 0930am. Work usually finishes by 4pm, though members will be on site until the evening when the modellers section of the society meets.
It is worth remembering that working days occur every week, on a Tuesday & Thursday. We are always looking for people to help with keeping our site tidy. We especially need volunteers who may have the skills to maintain our coaches and rolling stock.

22/06/26- We are very sad to report the passing of Susan Stocker and Brian Barnes. Our thoughts and condolences go to their families at this time.
