We are open on Summer Sunday's from May to September 2 - 5pm.
Tickets can only be purchased from our ticket office which is open on running days, we accept both card and cash payments. Unfortunately, children under the age of 12 months cannot ride on trains for insurance reasons.
Suburban ticket: £2.50
Miler ticket: £3.00
Combination ticket : £5.00
Multi-ride ticket (12 rides): £27.00
Ticket prices for 2025 are remaining the same as 2024, but we reserve the right to increase these prices during the season as we continue to face increased costs.
Our 'Suburban' route is approximately 3/4 of a mile long taking approximately between 7-10 minutes to complete and the 'Miler' route is approximately a mile long taking approximately between 12-15 minutes to complete.*
Please note, on our Special Events days we will only run the 'Suburban' route unless specified.
Safety whilst riding on our trains:
Whilst travelling on the trains, passengers must remain seated with their hands and feet within the confines of our sit-in coaches, must not lean over and must keep their feet on the running boards of the sit-astride coaches. All passengers must remain seated until the train becomes stationary at a designated stopping place. Younger children must sit on the carriage seats, not on laps, held in arms or carried in a sling. Unfortunately children under the age of 12 months cannot ride on trains due to insurance reasons.
Once passengers have boarded the train they must not get off for any reason (this includes taking photographs) until the train reaches its final destination, unless instructed by one of our volunteers.
*Mizens railway reserves the right to not run any routes at their discretion, and cannot guarantee any specific routes, locos or rolling stock will be running at any time.
