Membership
Mizens Railway is operated and maintained by members of the Woking Miniature Railway Society. We currently have just over 100 members, many of whom provide the volunteer support needed to build, extend, and operate the railway on the days that we are open.
There are many roles in which to volunteer at Mizens Railway and members are always needed on running days for; driving, guarding, signalling, station staff and so much more. If running days aren't for you then maybe you could help us during the week as there are plenty of things to do such as helping our Permanent Way team keep our track in top condition, maintaining the flowers and woodland of our delightful 10 acre site or adding a splash of colour with some painting.

No previous experience is necessary (although certain skills would be particularly welcomed!).
If you are interested, in either adult or junior membership, please contact our membership secretary at [email protected],
or alternatively visit us on a running day and speak to one of our volunteers for more information.
Membership is open to anyone who would like to join our activities and we would be very keen to hear from anyone interested. Membership fees (plus a small joining fee) are very reasonable.
Membership is subject to the approval of the society Committee.
A satisfactory DBS check may be required.
